Prior to the establishment of Zammit Sales and Marketing Management, Paul served as a Parliamentarian for a period of 15 years, 12 of which were as the NSW State Member for Burwood/Strathfield, after which he was elected to the National Parliament of Australia as the Federal Member for Lowe for a period of 3 years before returning to the business world.
On the 12th April 1983, Paul was elected as a Fellow of the Institute of Company Directors in Australia and he was subsequently admitted on the 1st of January 1990 as a Foundation Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, which continues to this day for an unbroken period of 30 + years.

Paul said: “I have always been of the view that we live in an extremely lucky country, that we are very fortunate to be Australians and that we should always do whatever we can to put something back into our community so as to express our ongoing gratitude in a tangible way”
“As many would know, my wife of 50 plus years, Rita, was awarded her own OAM six years ago and she has not diminished in any way her ongoing voluntary commitment to those who are marginalised and least advantaged in our society, and neither shall I.”
“I was honoured to have been appointed as a Knight of Magistral Grace (KMG) on the 13th June 2017 in the Order of Malta (in Australia), a Lay order dedicated to serving the sick, poor and needy in our society,” added Paul Zammit.
